Deidre Callanan, DC, RDH, MPH, (ex officio), CU School of Dental Medicine

At the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine,  Dr. Callanan teaches courses that center on understanding the cultural and social determinants of health, implicit bias, and  health equity and equality to pre-doctoral students with the goal of graduating more compassionate and culturally-minded doctors who care for all populations.

In the classroom, Deidre's goal is to teach in a way that inspires and connects. Learning also takes place outside of the classroom through experiential learning  sessions.
